The Shopfox W1860 is an 8 by 76-inch jointer with a parallelogram design with a helical cutter head and mobile base. Its motor is a single phase 3 horsepower, 220-volt motor that will give you precise edge jointing and face flattening. 

Aesthetics

The ShopFox W1860 has a table that measures 9 inches by 76 inches and fences mounted in its center. It has a built-in mobile base, and it looks compact with everything neatly in its place.

The base is black, while the stand is white with a powder-coated finish. The table has a parallelogram design, a 4-inch dust port, and a built-in dust chute to make your work more efficient. 

Performance Review

This jointer can make an impressive 22 000 cuts per minute. This is more than most jointers on the market. It has a very long infeed table, measuring 40 inches. 

You can adjust both the infeed and outfeed tables to get even more precise cuts. You can adjust the table height by using the levers on the machine. This lets you work at a height that is comfortable for you. 

It is important to note while ShopFox has the W1859, which is eerily similar to the W1860, the two have their differences. The W1859 has a 4-knife cutter head with high-speed steel knives. In contrast, the W1860 has a helical cutter head with 4 helical and 36 indexable carbide inserts.

Safety
